Trauma Survivor Groups are designed for women looking for a biblically-based, safe, compassionate, and shame-free place to heal from trauma.
Each group meets women where they are in their recovery journey and encourages restoration of the soul using both psychologically sound principles and Christian doctrine.

It has been my great honor and privilege to be able to partner with women on their journey to physical and emotional recovery from trauma. I began my counseling career working in both a church and with women recently released from jail. For all the differences in the two environments they had strikingly similar client populations. Regardless of where I find myself, one thing remains the same: people are hurting. The women I work with who have survived trauma feel the heaviness of their experience in every area of their life. It never leaves them. Predators brutally ripped something sacred from these young, precious women created in the Holy image of God and left them to pick up the pieces, often at a very tender young age. Through the years my clients have shared the various ways in which the deeply personal wounds of trauma have scarred them. I started the trauma survivor groups as a way to help women come out from hiding, from the darkness of their pain and live unashamed, in freedom. Helping them to grab hold of Christ’s love for them and to heal in the safety of His gentleness and protection.
It’s my firm belief that healing and wholeness can only be found through Christ Jesus. As the facilitator, my role is to create a space where biblical truth inspires women to learn, share, and heal in community with other women.
The groups are kept at a maximum of five people to ensure the safety and confidentiality of the group. The meetings are held during the week from 6-7pm. The cost is $60 per person and includes an hour session and light refreshments.
