Her faith-based approach to trauma and recovery combines sound psychology with biblical doctrine to support healing, intimacy, and growth. Her goal is to promote health and well-being within the individual, and in their relationships with others by helping clients develop mental resilience and practical strategies they can start applying immediately.
She specializes in treating adults with significant trauma histories. Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Dr. Efferson is able to utilize a variety of interventions to best serve her clients. Her practice serves individuals and couples with relational and trauma based issues.
