At Freedom Counseling, Dr. Efferson works with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing Christian counseling services from a biblical perspective and non faith-based services, as well. Her sessions are located in a space designed to be comfortable and supportive, offering a highly specialized approach tailored to each of her client's individual needs to help you develop personal and lasting growth and healing.

Rates:

$300 for 90 minutes Initial Individual Intake

$220 for 50 minutes Individual Sessions


$450 for 90 minutes Initial Couples Intake

$240 or 50 minutes Couples Sessions


$300 for 90 minutes Initial Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Intake

$220 for 50 minutes Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Sessions

$1200 for 6 (50 minutes) Sessions EMDR package (any additional sessions will be billed at individual EMDR rates, except for sessions included in additional package purchases)*


$300 for 90 minutes Initial Brainspotting Intake

$220 for 50 minutes Brainspotting Sessions

$600 for 3 (50 minutes) Sessions Brainspotting package (any additional sessions will be billed at individual Brainspotting rates, except for sessions included in additional package purchases)**


$300 for 50 minutes Emergency Individual and Couples Sessions (Emergency services are sessions where individuals or couples need immediate treatment, outside office hours)

  • The initial consultation fee includes a comprehensive evaluation to include psychological assessments and a detailed written report, which outlines assessment findings, clinical implications, and provides personalized care recommendations.

  •  Insurance is not accepted, however, an invoice can be generated for insurance purposes for $25

* Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) literature recommends 6-12 sessions for single issue trauma. 

** Brainspotting literature reports improvement after 3 sessions but more may be required depending on the severity of the trauma.
